How it began...
The name says it all: SMOKEHOUSEJellies. All of our pepper jellies are smoked to give them a unique taste and aroma of BBQ that will keep you coming back for more. Over COVID, I started a hobby of growing my own super hot peppers and became enamored with everything about it. I grew a mix of habaneros, trinidad morgua scorpion, and carolina reaper peppers from seed. In this experiment, I found real joy in farming and nurturing these seeds to fruit. That year, I had no expectations, yet the yield from my careful attention to these plants was abundant, to say the least. I decided to try my hand at making pepper jelly, but my way. There are so many pepper jellies out there, but I wanted to try something I hadn’t seen before. On a whim, I decided to throw the fruits and peppers on my stick burner before making jelly with them. The rest is history. After the first bite, I knew I had something special and something I had never tasted before. So, here we are. I started this business with my wife, because we are self-proclaimed foodies, passionate about good food, and dedicated to providing a great product.
